When a turbo is "for use with an external wastegate" does that mean you need to have a wastegate on your o2?

Doesn't necessarily mean it has to be on the o2 housing, but it does require the use of an external wastegate. Placement of the gate is up to you.
You could, although that's a lot of expense unless you're having serious issues controlling your boost level. For most people running under 20psi, the stock internal gate system works flawlessly. Can you use an external gate on the stock turbo/a turbo that doesn't need it.
How many thread do you have to start on this topic? If you mount your wastegate on the manifold you can either do a dump tube or fabricating a recirculation dump that goes to your downpipe. If you mount of you o2 housing you can either buy a o2 housing with a dump tube or a recirculation one. I clearly stated that in the last thread you started; http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...pipe-exhaust-manifold-wastegate-downpipe.html.
or you could just be a nice person and just answer the mans question and save him the time, instead of being a dick and making them search all over. If people wanted to search then they will search but if they want an answer then just answer them or dont say anything
I don't know if any of you are members of other DSM forums but DSMtuners actually has a very bad rep for this and makes everyone look like shit. A lot of other sites hate tuners because of these actions.

O2/exhaust manifold. I just figured O2 would be easier considering the re-route you'd have to get done with an external wastegate on the manifold.
Stupid question...I'm sure you can but I'm going to ask anyways..
Can you use an external gate on the stock turbo/a turbo that doesn't need it.
The internet is a very large resource, my friend. You're at will to come and go as you please; no need to put down our site because we didn't answer your question in 30 seconds or less.I don't know if any of you are members of other DSM forums but DSMtuners actually has a very bad rep for this and makes everyone look like shit. A lot of other sites hate tuners because of these actions.
Then you're not searching hard enough, or you're not using the proper search terms to arrive at a thread that contains the answer to your question. Once you get to a thread that you feel has potential, you can even use the "search within this thread" feature to narrow the results down further. And its not that I'm too lazy to search its that I can't find an answer to my exact question without reading 10-20 pages
If you say that DSMTuners had a bad rep than why do you come on here to find answers? It'd be logically for you to got to other forums with a better rep. Don't defame yourself here!
You sure can. I have an external wastegate off the O2 housing on my internally gated 16G. If you want pictures I can post up a few.
I'm not putting the site down I'm just stating a fact that a lot of other sites talk about DSMtuners from that angle. DSMtuners has legit info but it also has a lot of cocky people. If you asked me a question about something you didn't know much about I'd try to feed you the knowledge you craved...not down you about what you don't know.
If you already have pics could you post a couple please?
