my cousins 95 talon awd mods: intake and greddy piping. his car would hit fuel cut all day no matter how hard he got on it at 4,000rpm and it was pulling timing pretty hard, we took the honeycombs out of the maf and now the car runs great no fuel cut but still pulls tiiming. anything to stop the car from pulling time?

Perform a boost leak test.

a boost leak will cause it to do that?
Fuel cut is not triggered by running out of fuel or your ability to deliver fuel. Fue cut is triggered when the the MAF reading exceeds the factory pre-programed air flow value orginally intended to guard against a faulty wastegate resulting in infinite boost. Boost leak is the number one cause for fuel cut because portions of the metered air escapes to the atmospere, MAF reading sky rockets causing the same effect as run away boost.

Glad you liked it. :)

I tried to give you a positive rep, but the system says I need to pass some more reputation around before giving it to you. :( I liked your explanation too. :rocks:
