exhaust sound

I currently have an aftermarket muffler on my 98 spyder gs, its a good sound but a little too loud on the hwy. I want the sound similar to a g35 , i know its a v6 with dual exhaust , but does anyone have any suggestions on a exhaust system or muffler that will give me a similar sound without being too loud on the highway??

Your 150hp 420A will never sound like a 300hp VQ35DE. However, if you want it to quiet down with a better sound, go honda with it and install a glass pack resonator with a muffler that comes with a silencer.

If you find a way to make that 4g64 sound like a VQ, I expect a pm. Otherwise, I think it's a lost cause.

Honestly bud, don't worry about making your car sound like another one out there.

Rocky, the non turbo Spyder trim came with the 4g64 motor not the 420a. No big deal, it's a rookie mistake.

All other 2g NT models came with the 420a. However the GSi (European version) was installed with a non turbo 4g63 instead of a 420a.

Yeeeeea. I missed that whole spyder part. Lol. Oh well... Foot tasted fine. Either way, the engines fire and run differently, so you can't make it sound like an Americanized skyline. I've always wanted the popping the STi makes. Anyone figues that out without an undersized muffler, let me know.
