me pissing on my car or getting a paintjob or a new shift knob doesn't...so seriously, what does?

LOL thanks, I'm sorry I'm just a smartass, I thought my car had piping but it tunred out it didn't so I have a muffler on stock piping (i know i know I've heard it all) and would the noise change at all if I got 2.5 inch piping and how would it change would it make it more bee sounding and BTW it says you have aim, what's your sN?

intakes change the sound/tone of a stock exhaust a little. if you have a aftermarket exhaust you will really notice the change.

then if youre turbo like us, Hard IC piping will deepen the tone a bit. then if you went with no catalytic that will make it louder. of course a full 3" exhaust with no cat and good muffler will sound loud but not obnoxious and have a great roar at WOT, but be deep at cruising levels.

basically anything that you do to the flow of air either coming in or going out of the engine to make it more efficient will change the exhaust tone.

If you click the "AIM" icon under his name it will popup a small box that shows you his aim username and you can just add him that way.
:)

2.5 Piping all the way back will sound alot better than the muffler you have on the car by itself. You will probably have a "lower" tone to your exhaust and hopefully you will like that alot more. For a catback exhaust (cataylic (SP) converter back) a header will change the tone of the exhaust and an intake will change it but not enough to make a big difference. Sometimes if you change from a CAT to a HIGHFLO cat or a TEST PIPE (no cat just straight pipe) it will change the exhaust also.
