exhaust pipe

My car has 3" exhaust w/ a cat delete, but im really not feeling the muffler on this thing. All i can find is catback kits and all i want is a greddy evo2 or apexi ws2 style canister. Any help?

I would highly recommend buying Vibrant performance single inlet 3" - dual outlets , Flat black very close to stock looking mufler. There were a couple threads here and especially one just couple of days ago, so search it and you will see.

I say go cat less, and muffler less, just get a Megan Racing test pipe, and have exhaust shop run side pipe. I had it like that on my old Talon, and my bro had it on his Eclipse, best sounding dsms I have seen. Pretty much same setup on my Galant, just it exits at the rear, sounds pretty much same as my Talon did, just cant hear the turbo as good.

Sorry bud but i think that sounds like a tractor. I tried that with mine and i hated it. i went catless and a knock off Apexi muffler, sounds great

Yep, tractor it is. Get a muffler off ebay.

search for greddy muffler or apexi muffler on ebay and you'll find what you need then just have somebody weld it on.

Tractor. I guess people have different tastes and tractors, cause I have never heard a tractor like that. I have heard it compared to a boat running out of the water, sounds close, . I like it because it sounds like no other car, and the sound it makes at WOT is swag. Plus, if you do that to a non turbo, it will not sound good at all, it will be very raspy under WOT and at higher rpms. I'm gonna say if you want a muffler +1 for Ebay, great place to get mufflers off of.

If you want a stock looking system thats a real 3" cat back system, your out of luck as far as I know. When I went looking last fall all the more stock looking systems had smaller diameter pipes, only the N1 muffler styles had a 3" pipe. Best bet is to get a custom system made up, I too would recommend Vibrant (what I went with) & if you follow the link above you can see a crappy pick of my system that almost looks identical to stock & flows much better then my Apexi N1 system did.

Wasn't really looking for a stock type system, BUT now that i've looked at yours and pondered a little, it's going to be a definite possibility!
