exhaust manifold

Hi i have a 90 lazer w/ turbo, just bought it used, i dont know if there is engine work or not really but anyway i know exhaust leaks hurt turbo spool and i have a slit on the manifold, and there is smoke comming from under the manidolf so i cant see what it is, the engine has been sitting for a while, ive been startign it once in a while for the past few weeks, but i dont know if thats the reason for the smoke..i hope its not rings.

well i tried to take the manifold off but it feels like all the bolts are going to snap, i dont wanna wind up gettin stick with bolts in my head broke .

is there a way to try and free up the bolts or something? anyhelp plz..

If you have the money by all means, however a refreshened head gets a 3-angle valve job which is more than suffecient.

A friend of mine recently had his head redone for $330

i think ill wait for that , i just got a head gasket kit, ever gasket i need above the pistons no wi just need to find time

latest news, head was apart, my uncle the mechanic said send it to his machiene shop so i did, guy charged $70 to replace 3studs and a new coil for one ( i dont know) and 220 to mild and polish the head, freshin it up, new valves and seals, and pressure check (hopefully) but he should.

so much for doin this for 150, totaled out to 450
