I have a 99 GS. I have a straight back exhaust system, when I tried to get rid of the cat. the car started to turn on the check engine light and began to run a very rich mixture, so rich that it permanently darkened the stainless steel on the exhaust muffler, now i have a freaking restrictive cat in what could be a nice low bakpressure exhaust, im thinking about to put in a resonator but i want to know how to get rid of the $^$@# check engine light when it comes on again. any help will be greeeatly appreciated

if you find it useful my exhaust components are: 4 to 1 obx header, 2 1/2 inch downpipe, factory cat(want to remove) 2 1/2 inch back piping and an APC 2 1/2 inch straight muffler.

O2 sensor? that would be my guess, but try to run it on the computer if you can

i know that the back O2 sensor is the responsible for that, but i want to know how i can bypass it or what i can do to solve the problem.
