Does anyone know the what the HP record is for the EvoIII turbo? No spray! Somoeone told me it was like 426hp, set by Slowboyracing??? IDK.

I may be wrong, but I believe Curt Brown still holds the 16G HP record just shy of 500whp.

To be more specific, he'd hold the EVO3 16g record (or any DSM style 16g record I'd imagine). The most power I've seen on any 16g is Lucas English's EVO IX 16g:

I know of one dsm that hit 500whp on a 16g, and yes there is curt brown which was one hp from the 500club. In evo world i know of a lot more 500whp 16g's but they are almost all shop cars, or sponsored.

Not to mention the fact that Evo VIII and IX 16gs are a different breed than the Evo I, II, and III 16gs people run on DSMs.

I know Lucas English. I take my car to that shop. his DAILY DRIVER stock evo holds the world's fastest stock evo 1/4 time. idk about horsepower or 16g record.

Curt's is 499AWHP , I suppose that's just to make the rest of us feel like we're even farther behind the small turbo / big power curve... To make things even better his car did 397 awhp on pump (20 psi) on a stock 7 bolt (minus cams / arps / HG). I can only imagine what it's like with something like that on tap...
