It always pains me to see someone who cut the whole center peice of the bumper off. thats less safty for you and your new shiny fmic, and its also a lot harder to cut that stuff. I removed the ac system (if you dont want to do this you dont really have an option, now do you?) and put it back to where the ac compressor was almost. cut about half an inch off the back of both sides of the bumper. didn't even touch the middle part.
