Evo oil squirters in my 6 bolt?

I have been reading a few threads about the oil squirters in the 6 bolt blocks.
I will be using 6 bolt rods with 7 bolt pistons.
My questions are:
1: Will the stock 6 bolt squirters clear the 2g pistons?
2: If they don't, should I get evo squirters?
3: Or should I block them off?

I have used evo 8 in early 7 bolts. they have to be modded to work. the mounting eye needs to be ground down for clearance. it will snap the housing if you dont. you can use washers but then the squirter will contact crank. even when clearanced correctly they need to be re-pointed to be in correct position to clear crank and point toward bottom of piston.

stock squirters do clear 2g pistons if I remember correctly. drag cars should block them off. street cars should retain them. they do cool bottom of piston. they are there for a good reason. forged pistons expand more than normal with heat. so they need them even more than stock pistons if you ask me. drag cars dont run long enough to matter.

Yes coming from a 6 bolt guy and one who uses Evo 8 squirter they will clear just fine. Don't expect any magic from them they are the same in performance as the 6 bolt squirters, most of us used them to clear the skirt of some of the after market pistons.

On the Wiseco hd's in my car I still had to bend the Evo 8 squirters just a bit to clear I used them on the 2g pistons and 1g rods before with no modding what so ever.
