Hello every one I was wondering if getting an evo III the MHI EVO III 16G from slowboyracing was enough or something bigger would be necessary like the SBR-G50? I want around 400awhp on 93 octane pump gas. I am also about to purchase 550 injectors these RC 550 injectors or 650 injectors these Fuel injector clinic’s 650 cc. ball-style fuel injectors  ,dsmlink, 3inch gm maf and maft. In addition I am getting an fmic the street kit from Extreme Turbo Systems and IE-FPR Kit for DSM installation of an Aeromotive Regulator. I have other mods listed in my car profile. I’m wondering if I will not be using my bolt ons to their full potential thus wasting my money using the evo III turbo. However I don’t have the money to spend over like $600-$750(pushing it) on the turbo. I have already spent a great deal of money on it happily tho Any advice on the turbo choice, injectors choice, or any other additions I just said I’m about to purchase thank everyone very much.
My DSM seems it will always be a work in progress :thumb: :talon:

The Evo3 isn't enough for 400awhp and neither are the 550s. Go with like a t04b Garrett turbo. These flow more then the E3 and even 20g's. Skip the 550s and go with 720s (you could use 650s), especially if your using DsmLink to tune it with.

What I would do..
T04b Turbo
Front Mount (Kit if you have the money, a Core and make your own pipes if you don't)
DsmLink
Cams (Fp2, or HKS 272s).

With good enough tuning 400hp is accessable and you'll still have room to grow. You don't want to end up buying anything twice so make sure you figure out exactly what you want before you spend your money.

what makes an fmic kit better than a custom job? if you know what your doing the piping can be equally as simple in both setups, but the custom job will cost a lot less...

thanks for the answers so far, you have given me a few new questions though. who makes the T04b Turbo that u speak of, or who has the best deal really since alot of places prob sell them. Also for the 720 injectors is there a best brand or more reliable brand then the other. Price is important too. also you don't think the fmic the street kit from Extreme Turbo Systems will be good enough its only like $600. Is there any better kits for around that price or a nice core i should look into and go to a shop to make pipes. Also you guys don't think the SBR-G50 is enough for like 400ish awhp. thanks for all the help already. you guys really are great :thumb:

yea your right calling them would be a good idea, i still in the planning stages so they will prob ask me questions i don't have answers for yet but your right and i will call them before i make my final decision. also i was on the bullseye website and whats v-trim why is it cheaper? any injector preferences guys on the 720's
