Evo III

I have an Evo III in my 2g. I have a couple of issues ....
1. first when you go to start it in the mornings it doesn't like to stay running until it gets warmed up .
2. Car has a rough idle , some people say its a vac leak? ( whats the best way to find a vac leak?) I have changed the idle control mod, I have changed the intake manifold gasket, and all the vac lines Iam not using are capped off.
3. At a stop light if I get on it and go to shift gears , the engine continues to rev after I let off the gas with the clutch pressed in .... (only getting about 10 psi)

So Iam asking for advise . I bought this car in pieces I have got this car this far with help from you guys thanks .

Evo 3 what?

Turbo, o2 housing, intake manifold, exhaust manifold...?

Boost leak test should find any major vac/boost leaks.
Is the CEL on?

What exactly do you mean by "rough idle"? Are you referring to a bumpy idle, such as "missing"...or is it more like a surge? As far as idle mod do you mean the ISC? A throttle position sensor that is no longer functioning properly or not adjusted correctly can cause a bad idle. What are your RPMs looking like after a cold start compared to how it idles after it reaches operating temp? I know you said it doesn't like to stay running until it warms up but after a cold start is should still be in an RPM range that you can look at and give a description of. IOW, does it not want to idle high at all, or is it idling high and then stalling?

Evo III Block, head , and turbo.
whern engine is warm it idles at about 900 rpms . when cold it falled below 900 and stalls out .

Rough idle meaning a surge.
As for the tps had it tested witha voltage meter tested fine.

I would look for loose wiring as well... mainly the temp sensor plug...

is your EGR blocked off?
