hey theres a guy who is selling an evo III 16g turbo with oil lines and j pipe for 150 he says it is NOT a MHI. he said hes had it on his for 2 years with no problems i jus dont want a problem once i get it. what do you think?

I think if you do not want problems, do not get it. If you do not want problems, buy new. How are we suppose to suggest something with zero serial numbers or even pics? Seriously. Search more. Ebay, non genuine, non mhi. Smh.

150 for a turbo, feed and drain lines? I'll go ahead and keep walking, no matter how bad your turbo may be (saw your other post), It'll just lead to more money spent down the road

Unless the turbo is local and you know about turbos to check if its ok. I'd go with find a new one.

I would honestly keep looking. I picked up a authentic MHI evo III for 200 last year. I had an ebay 16g on my laser when I first bought it. It ran fine and there was no play in it when i sold it, but my friends and myself all noticed the difference after bolting up the true MHI. And I was always checking the turbo because of bad experiences that I witnessed of other people's ebay turbos.
