Whats up guys new here and to 4g63 and turbos but not to Mitsubishis. I have a '96 Talon TSi with a cracked exhaust manifold. Today I picked up a manifold from an Evo II (on Ebay)and was curious if it would bolt right up and also if there was any difference in flow and whether or not I should port it. Thanks for the help in advance.

Heres a couple pics of the manifold.

I actually was looking at that one on ebay and was assuming it would be 7cm. I emailed the seller and he said it was 6cm even though i would think evo2 would have some form of 16g which would have 7cm

It will bolt up, yes....but the hole on the T25's turbine housing is smaller than the one on this manifold.

This manifold is better-matched to a 16G or something with a 7cm2 turbine housing, although it will work for now if you're planning on upgrading your turbo soon.

If you are going to port.. gasket port match to the head. Also if you have the room ( disclaimer: no experience on porting t25's) id try to smooth out and port what you can on that t25.. the inlet is already going to be substantially smaller than a 14b/16g etc..

I wasn;t really planning on upgrading my turbo for a while, at least not until I iron out a few other things on this car so maybe I should find another exhaust manifold. I just figured this might be a better route with it having a higher nickel content.

Since I probably wont use it now I'll more than likely re-list it on Ebay or something. Is there any demand for this style exhaust manifold or did I more than likely eat what I paid for this?

There's a demand, sure. It already has the 7cm2 collector as stated above, so guys that don't have porting tools would sure like to have their hands on this manifold to mate to their 16G or larger turbo.

I'd tell you to list it in the Tuner classifieds but you don't have enough posts and you're not a Proven Member.
