evo 8 springs,retainer,lifters

I know that the springs and retainers work. I was just wondering if there is any benfits running the rockers and lifters. Im going to assume that the lifters would be a 3g style.., but i could be wrong.

yes it would be the newer style lifters....an for the rockers i am not sure...but even if they are the same ration.....newer parts never hurt if you can get them cheap

+1 on the lifters, and the rockers are a revised design from what I've read so it doesn't sound like a bad choice to me...

The Evo lifters are the same as the 3G lifters. The rockers have the same ratio but look a bit different than DSM rockers. The contact patch on the revised Evo rockers is larger than DSMs, but they are made of stamped steel, which some feel is weaker. I'm not sure of that though.
