well recently my friend found me a 16g turbo that is off of an evo 8 with an evo 7 twinscroll compression wheel. it is td05hr and i was wondering if it would fit a 14b manifold? he told my friend that it might take some fabrication to make it fir on a manifold. if not, is there a manifold for a 2g dsm that can fit this turbo? here are some pics...

Have you not looked at what a DSM manifold looks like? Where the turbo bolts to it it's totally different than the turbo you want to use. Also, a DSM is not twin scroll, so if you doped something up to work somehow, it would spool slower than it does on the Evo.

You'd need an Evo manifold, but the problem with that is the turbo is backwards from a DSM one. 1: The turbo may hit the engine block. 2: the inlet will be pointed at your alternator (the alternator probably won't fit because of the turbo compressor being right there).

???? If he dubed up a manifold that was built for the housing the twin scroll would work fine. It would be too expensive IMO and a lot of work. Ive seen a lot more high HP dsms on the tried and true evo 3 16g.
