Evo 5-9 MR steering wheel, will it bolt on?

Hey, I was wondering if a steering wheel from an Evo 5-9 MR will bolt on to our factory hub? For a replacement from our factory wheel... thanks

I've seen some pics of other dsm's with one of these so im just curious.

No, you have to cut the bracket from a 1g wheel, and have it welded in place of the bracket on the evo wheel. Theres a write-up on it around here somewhere, but its a pretty obvious procedure

We have a tech article specifically about installing a Evo steering wheel in a DSM, 1g or 2g. I'm assuming you couldn't find it when you tried searching because you're spelling STEERING incorrectly, rendering your search useless?

Lol its not a big deal ..my own error. I need answers not you guys going back and fourth on how i miss spelled a word.

Check out that link I was thinking about doing the same mod. I thought it would be cool to keep the air bag ect... what I found is that running another vehicles airbag is quite dangerious... If you do plan on instaling the evo wheel I wouldnt wire it up like they did. Post pics when its done!
