EVO 4 trnsmission in a 95 gsx?

I am looking for a new or slightly used transmission for my 95 GSX because mine blew. i found a re-built EVO 4 one on the net for an ok deal. i am pretty sure that it will bolt up to the motor but would the motor mounts bolt up to the transmission

No, it wouldn't work. The Evos IV and up all have their engines reversed in comparison to ours, i.e. tranny on drivers side, engine on passenger's side. I would suggest a rebuild of your current tranny.
