yes i am having a bit of trouble understanding EPROM and NON-EPROM. i have a 95 eclipse GSX and i have been reading up on forms for a year or so and don't understand? so if there is anyone that has any input thanks for all the help dsmers

how can i tell if it is a e-prom ecm or not? mine is in a gold casing i think if i am correct? i was just by the ecm to hook up my turbo timer.

If its an eprom itll have a E on the sticker on the right bottom. But even .thhen it is best to open thhe case and look at it. If u still hhave ?s take a pic of it when u have it open and post it here

ok i will take it off tomorrow and post some pictures. if i do have e-prom do i still need to send my ecu to the company.

You socket the ecm so you can install dsmlink's chip. And regardless of whether its a e-prom or not they can convert it just fyi.
