Is this for a 2g or something? i do see an eprom that looks like it is already socketed. I have never seen a dsm ecu with a daughter board.

EDIT: Perhaps it an ecu that the engineers at Mitsu used to test tune? Either way it is crazy looking.

No it is suposed to be for a 1g but i doubt it
The label says date 7706 but it says doch also , did mitsu even make doch engines in 77?
also yes it is soceted and it has a chip in it marked "rally sp-1"

I have never seen a ecu that looks like this one.

My guess is that it was from either an evo or jdm galant. Ive have seen the double board ecu's before and they came from jdm galants but with the rally spec eprom, Im guessing that its from an evo.

Well if you would like to have them i wouldnt have a problem sending them to you if you paid shipping =) to bad nobody can use them would be fun to know what that "rally" chip is doing...

I've spent some time disassembling the stock code from those to help some guys in OZ out.
There are people on www.galantvr4.com that they might be worth something more than shipping to. If I had reason to actually write code for that ECU I'd gladly pay the shipping.

I've had a couple of the DSM Engineering Prototypes cross my bench. One was found in a Junkyard locally and another showed up in Canada. The code had all sorts of interesting diagnostic interfaces for extra hardware. I could never figure out how they wound up in cars that were on the street.

Ok thanks i will let them know i have it , it would feel better for me if i could help somebody out rather then just keeping it for no use.
also would it be possible to get a turboed eclipse running on one of those? i know a few here in sweden who maybe could use it then .
