:confused:Engine won't start. It will rotate but won't start. It was sitting over 6 months and the oil/gas wasn't drained when it was stored in the garage, it almost fired then just died, and it did this multiple times, ive'd found a masive fuel leak around the gas tank/ fuel sending unit .... will these make the car not start ?

Also, when it almost started black smoke shot out the exhaust. This used to be an everyday driven car until it was parked, i had the throttle body off and replace whit all new sensors and ported tb from ( thottle bodys.com )
i have new champion spark plugs
new gaskets for the throttle body installed
i had my ignition coil off the car for 5 months will these have someting to do whit it

new spark plug wires
new fuel filter

mods are
chip ecu 560cc 2g maf 3" exhaust 255 walbro ( i know there is a fuel leak ider at the gaz tank or at the sending unit ), exhaust, intercooler, stock fuel pressure regulator , the car whas working before

can that masive fuel leak cose the car not to start ?

i know i have a vaccum leak betwheen the intake manifold and fuel pressure regulator will effect starting

new throttle body ( 64mm ported ) new iSC, new tb, new biss crew everting is in order there and new gaskets ............. can these be the problem ?

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A car needs four things to start: timing, fuel, spark, and compression.

At this point I would recommend doing a compression test on all four cylinders. If they check out with proper psi, do a fuel pressure test to see if fuel is making it to the cylinders.

can that masive fuel leak cose the car not to start ?

Yes, to this question.

Yes to^^ But, black smoke??? I think that's a sign of it trying to burn too much fuel not a lack of.

I wouldn't look into compression just yet. I think if you solve your other problems first you'll be golden. Find out where and why its leaking fuel and repair. Then definitely fix that vacuum line to the FPR. If you can, check the fuel pressure as well.

If all that fails, then go back to the basic three. It will run again... sometime!

Low fuel pressure can definitely cause your car not to start, check to make sure your getting spark, and as stated above check the compression. Also because your car has been sitting it makes it alot easier to start if you jump the car while trying to start it. The more voltage the easier it will start. Also the gas in you tank is probably bad but it should still start regardless.

Good replies. Like vinnio said, that black smoke was unburnt raw fuel. Could be as simple as a bad fuel pump.
Like you already mentioned, you have a fuel leak so the engine isn't getting anything. Pick up a fuel pressure tester and get to the bottom of whether the engine is getting anything.

Once you get those leaks fixed i would recommend Fuel and injector cleaner from your local parts dealer. All that fuel has been sitting and also its been sitting in the injectors and Combustion chambers. After that it should run, will be ruff untill it gets back on its feet, but it sounds like you just have some simplistic problems in multiple different spots.

well i found aut why my car had problem starting ..........there is no fuel running from the fuel pump aka no fuel pressure so that my explain a lot of problems

i just dont understand whay

fuel pump is new walbro 255
the main relay close to the ecu cliks every time the key is on
the ecu is new i have 2 of them
