what is the best approach to pull engines from both a fwd and an awd talon and install the fwd motor in the awd body. Is it easier to pull them with the transmissions still sttached or without.

Yes I would pull them with the trannys on. Then its easier to pull the tranny, ive done it a few times and it makes it way easier with it still installed.

On my 2g I pull the motor by itself just loosen all the trans mounts. You have to take the pulleys off of the front of the motor to get the room you need. But on a 1g its easier to pull both at once.
