Ok im putting a used head on my engine :( i got it cheap so whatever, my two questions are. My pistons are oversized by 1mm ca i use a stock head gasket?
My engine ran a MLS head gasket b4 i bent my valves so do i have to use a MLS head gasket again or can i got back to stock? and can i use a stock sized head gasket for 1mm oversized pistons?

Okay first off if i was you take the used head to machine shop and get it checked and resurfaced if anything. Also if your pistons are 1mm over you need 1mm over head gasket you cant use a stock one you will smack your valves with your pistons. well hope this answered your questions. good luck

yah that did help i called the machine shop and reserfacing is only 25$ so would u know what size the gasket i need? is it a 86.5mm gasket?

Stock bore is 85mm. If you bored it out 1mm over you would be at 86mm or 40 thousands over (.040")You wouldnt hit you valves on your pistons by running too small of head gasket. I wouldnt advise running with a .020" under head gastket. You would be just fine running with one that is either your bore size or .020-.040" over. Hope this help:)
