Well I have a 1999 Spyder GS-T and a 1999 Eclipse GS. The spyder has 37,000 miles on it and I just crashed it yesterday the engine I believe is still ok in it some of the stuff may need to be looked at and replaced but other then that I think its in good shape. My GS has 120,000 miles on it would it be possible to put the GS-T engine in the GS Eclipse. What all would I half to do other then take out the engines and drop them in?

Anything is possible. This will take quite a bit of money, lots of time and money. In the end you will be wishing you bought a turboed one from the start.

Well I do have the GS-T. Which the engine is still in pretty good shape. Couldn't I just take the engine out of it and put it in my GS?

To make a long answer short no you cant put a 4G63 in a n/a eclipse, well you can but it will cost way more then its worth. Do a search next time this topic comes up alot there is alot of useful information in some of the older threads.

No.

The engines are completely different, thus there is a lot of custom fabrication required for this swap.

If you had searched a little more, you would have found the answer to this very common question.
