Hey, I have a 97 AWD that I recently swapped a JDM 6 bolt into. After about 100 miles of driving, one day the engine stalled and would not turn over. I didn't notice any low oil pressure prior to the stall and it was running perfect. So I ripped the head off and the pistons, cylinder walls looks good. When I blip the starter about 10 times it turns over one revolution and than gets hung up at the same spot. Any ideas to look for failed parts that can be replaced and make this thing run again. Thanks in advance!

Is your starter bad? It's common in 6 bolt swaps to go through starters if the plate between the engine and tranny is not correct. If you reused the 7 bolt one that will eat your starter and especially if you are not using that plate. Otherwise check your timing belt. You could have jumped some teeth on the cam gears or something. Besides that check your 1G CAS and all the wiring you had to do to do the swap.

The started was just replaced to free up the bottom end, the head it off so it isnt timing belt related/head related. When the motor gets stuck at the one spot with the started it is almost impossible for me to turn the motor over past that point.:(
