OK!!! probing Q to all you NA gurus out there, any small tricks of the trade to pluck the engine out of the engine bay? can it be done leaving the transmission IN the car? any misc bracketry thats notoriously a pain?
I've got a chiltons and the internet, and I've been making my references, but just curious if anyone's developed any lil "fast and easy" tricks from working on the NA cars....

). When you go to unbolt from the flexplate; mark the bolt hole and flexplate as a match when you pull out the first bolt. For balancing reasons, you can only bolt the flexplate and the clutch pack/torque converter on one way. If you mark the bolt hole versus the flexplate hole, it will be easier to know which holes to line up when you re-install.
