Alright, so I bought a 7bolt shortblock w/ evo pistons/rods, federal mogul bearings, freshly honed, polished crank, etc. I'm just trying to figure out everything I need to assemble the rest of it. I'm also going to be rechecking the bearing clearances, etc.

So far, I know I need to get new main bolts, head bolts/studs, front case, water pump, gasket set, oem composite head gasket, head, 7 bolt oil pan, 7 bolt flywheel, and probably a few other things I'm missing out on.
So I've seen on ebay gasket sets, front cases, etc. What's good and what's junk?
Obviously from the ebay gasket set I wouldn't use the headgasket it came with, but are the rest of the gaskets, viton valve seals, etc. good in 'em?
How about the front case/oil pump? Has anyone tried them?

I know most would say go oem and everything, but if I don't need to spend as much then I don't see the need to. Please only post if you have knowledge on these parts, I don't need 100000 posts about how everything on ebay is junk and if I'm too cheap to go oem then I shouldn't have a dsm.

Where can I find oem head bolts? I was reading that I'd need an aline hone in order to use arp head studs? Is this correct or would I be able to use arp head studs without it?
Also, what parts can I use from my old 6 bolt engine? It's literally just pulled from my car and has all the sensors, wiring, etc. on it.

Thanks

im running arp headstuds without an alignhone no problem, and also why go with a composite headgasket? a MLS makes more sense if your goinng for power

Because from what I've read the stock composite headgasket will be able to hold the amount of power I'm planning on making and the shortblock I have is not the correct finish for a metal headgasket and I would rather not chance it leaking.
