I am pretty sure I know where these get installed, but wanted to double check and confirm since the pictures/part number from RRE's suspension section are not the same. I also wanted to make it clear for anyone else who may order this kit and are not sure where it gets installed :thumb:

From the looks of it (the bushings being 1-piece) I am going to say that the upper arm bushings will need to be pressed in.

Thanks!

looks good to me dont know if your numbers are right but its pretty obvious which ones go where.

Thanks for the tips and confirmation, guys. I am sure I will be able to tell the difference between the upper and lower bushings once I actually have it apart in front of me, but since there are a ton of suspension components for the front just wanted to be sure I had the right pieces.

From personal experience pressing those in is a pita. I done my whole driverside in less than 30 minute's with two hammers. Easy money. I would recommend you give it a try.

Driving them in with a DIY bushing press is easier than a hammer and you won't run the risk of damaging the bushings:

Not saying it can't be done other ways, but I almost every bushing (except the two large rear control arms) in the Energy Suspension kit with one of these and they went in very smooth.

That's a nifty little tool. I didn't have access or even think about something like that. I just set the bushing on top of where it was supposed to go. Held a hammer on top of the bushing and had someone hit it with another hammer. One hit for every one. Pressing them in they like to pop out and or move and not be lined up. Idk about tearing but all of mine were successful. It seems you would be more likely to tear one pressing it in to me. Just my experience and thoughts though.

That is neat Cox Abele! Happen to have a size dimensions of those washer/plates you used?I would think flimsy fender washers may not be able to withstand the compression of the bushing.
