420A Endurance racing - colder plugs?

This is a new venture for me so I need some input from other endurance racers familiar with this platform. I've read lots about the heat these cars generate (I'm guessing it's more the turbo cars though). In my road race Crown Vic I run a heat range colder than stock to help draw heat out of the combustion chamber a bit faster. Would these cars benefit from that as well? Car would run 7-8 hours at a time on a road course.

Not DSM specific but we built my friends CRZ endurance car and he stuck with the stock iridium plugs ( same heat range ) and his were never a problem nor caused any ill effects from it. Not to say the 4G or 420 would differ or suffer but it should not be a huge problem. If your highly tuned then yes going colder might help but you have to let your plugs tell you what to do not what you want to do. Only alter it if signs of over heating or the plugs show you
