ok so i ran into so BS with the DMV and i guess my car is not registered all they did was transfer the old plates over. witch dose not make sense because if it was never registered why would i get an emissions test letter and the title in the mail. but any way im getting it re-registered with early American plates and im gonna have to go through emissions and i know im gonna fail. iv replaced all the vacuum lines and my cat is still good and im gonna be taking out the egr restrictor plate. any other ideas would be a great help

thanks guys

Changing the oil can help. Making sure the engine is fully warmed up when you go in for the test.

Check the air filter to be sure it is clean.

You can close the gap on your plugs slightly and pour a bottle of rubbing alcohol in the tank. The alcohol burns cleaner with less emissions.

well the car passed :thumb: they put one prob in insead of two. going to get my early american plates tomarrow morning :hellyeah:

thanks for the advise guys ill remember for when i gotta go thru next time
