Hey guys, car is running good. No idle surge except when I turn on my AC. My idle actually goes up 150 and my ISC position in link goes up to 70 from 30. I tested my alternator for volts and is good, should I go ahead and test my IAC?

Any input would be nice.

That's a big jump, If I were you I would double check for leaks like the base idle set screw o ring. A way to test it is cover it with your finger if engine speed and tone change then replace it, and if it's not leaking I would definitely go about testing the pins with a multi meter. If it's bad throttlebodys's.com is great and has them for 50-75 bucks rebuilt both styles (1g and 2g which are interchangeable) but the black one is revised and has a 1 year warranty as well! You can also double check that your coolant offset tables in ecm link show the stock values for whichever transmission you run. Hope you figure it out!

The rpms and isc position surge, so sometimes the ac will be on and everything is fine 30 isc and 850 rpms. Than 40 secs later it goes up. I took the motor off today and inspected it. Not really sure what can be causing the problem

I got you, yeah that is strange. I'd suspect the ac or idle speed controller to narrow it down though. If it's not the ac the idle speed controller most likely has some shorted pins on it.

Maybe intermittent short? I'd replace the ISC for my sanity.
