i bought the car with a blown head gasket, all lights worked fine. When i got the car together i accidentally connected the battery backwards..(old battery, i wasnt paying attention). So it blew my alternator fuse and after i replaced that i noticed that my tail light fuse kept blowing each time i put a new one in. I did move the cables in the engine bay so i could paint the side of engine bay but can that cause i problem..

I checked the aftermarket radio, disconnected tail lights (had a rusty socket), looked around the car and bay.

I checked for shorts in the fuse box again and no I have a tail, high beam, and fog light short... any ideas?

I'm thinking that maybe its the lights switch?

Any help would be appreciated

Your going to have to follow your wire from the fuse box to the tail light. From the sounds of it its more then likely between the rear seats and the light.
