Electrical problem? Not sure really.. Please Help.

Two days ago my lights started dimming and I knew immediatly it had to be my battery. I checked all the connections and fuses. Everything seems to be working all right. I got a new battery today, reset the ecu and everything works fine again EXCEPT for one thing. The oil light flickers on everytime i touch the gas pedal. anytime i accelerate the oil light fades/flickers on. I already bought a mechanical oil guage which is in the mail now and my oil level is fine. I am extremely confused as to what could be making this light come on. Thanks guys for any answers

The oil sending wire is at the bottom of the engine and it can come loose really easily. Check that.

FIXED! the wire was grounding out to the oil filter housing. thnx for the bright idea.
