Electric problem

Ok I have been having this problem for a while and I was wonderinf if I could get some feed back on what it might be. It is like there is a short or something in my car b/c the lights are dim (like all the lights, insurments and all) and the radio will ocasionaly shut off and then turn back on, like the engine is off b/c it will do that secruity beep. The first thing I noticed was the radio turning off and on and I thought it might be the ground, but then when I noticed that the light were dim I didn't think it could be the ground to the radio. the lights go back to the way they should be when the radio shuts off. The next thing I thought it was was the alternator might be going (my gf's 1g was having this problem and after I replaced the bad alternator it was fine). So I took the car to get the alternator checked today and the guy said it was giving a good read. So now I have no idea, could the ground be making the lights dim?
The only other thing I think it could be is that the car is possessed. (This would make sense at least. Then I could use my employee discount to get it fixed, I get my 1st demon exorcism free and then 25% off on any additional exorcism).

crap grounds it could be. ( doubtful if you didnt mess with them ) crap battery ( better odds on that one )

I would agree with battery as well. Try driving one day without radio on. See if the lights are still dim once the drive is over.

Make sure the battery + terminal isn't shorting against the underside of the hood.
