2G EGR shut off

Hello Guys,

I have a 97 GST and thinking of shutting of the EGR to keep the air clean.
Do you have any positive or negative experience with blocking it off?

Worst it can do is throw a CEL.

it will trigger a check engine light, and fhe vacuum hose diagram is nearly indecipherable because there are 3 vacuum tunes wrapped around the intake manifold 3 times

leave it alone, ive pulled these manifolds on cars with 200k miles and theres is barely any residue in them
