Alright...... I did try to search and have a couple things to try but tell me what you guys think.

I picked up a 91 fwd turbo ( root beer brown- ever seen an eclipse this color?) from the auction for a few hundred dollers.

It had a number of little problems but one has got me stuck.

First it will take a good 45sec of cranking it before it will kinda start. And then when it gets warm it will randomly shut off. When starting it the engine light may blink once then go off. And i noticed when Im driving it the factory boost gauge is really sloppy. When driving it drives fine...... and then a random shut off. You hear the click from the ecu and it shuts off. It like the power to everything goes off for a sec or somthing. Somtimes its easy to re start others takes a while. There is no consistant check engine light.

Here is what I have tryed: changed coil pack, mass air, fixed an injector, replaced fuel pump, and switched out the ecu with one I bought from e-bay (so it may not be good for all i know).

I'm gonna try replacing the coolent temp sensor this week( the books says it has some type of ceonnection with the injection system) and maybe another ecu that I know is good.

Any Idea's would help guys, I'm willing to try anything.

oh yea the compression is 160,160,125, 160. Should still run thoughas far as I know

thanks in advance guys

also looking to trade my780cc injectors for 660s for my other car, if anyone is intrested

It's your ecu rebooting because of losing power. The caps are probably leaky and this causes the ecu power to spike some and will cause it to restart itself randomly. mine did the EXACT same thing before I got it fixed.
