EGR Removal question

Hi All,
I've read post after post on here about the pros and cons.
One question i can't seem to get a answer too.
What do you do with the EGR sensor? Everyone talks about removing the vacuum lines. Nothing about the sensor. Do you disconnect it and just leave it? Do you run a jumper to kill the code?
Any help is accepted .

You just disconnect the vac lines. as long as the solenoid is plugged in and it won't throw a code.

I'm going to install a block off plate and remove the EGR all together......

Yeah. You just need to remove the vac lines from the sensor on the firewall. as long as it is plugged in, it will not throw a code.
