I'm not 100 percent certain how to check that I'm new to ecuflash first time ever using it I pulled the files from ceddymod and they were the ones for my car

I have the XML file 20550011 that's where my ECU inherited from and my internal ID is 20560009

You don't have to use whatever came on your car, but the binary and the XML must match because the addresses are different. If there is a Ceddy binary and XML that match what your ECU came with, definitely use that. Otherwise, pick one.

How do I check the binary and xml to make sure they match the tables are showing up with the wrong rpm and load

Thank you all for the reply. I did a little more digging and think I may have found my issue, have to try and find the xml files but it may be it. I have the xml files for a gst ecu but I have a 98 gsx ecu in my car.

I have to find the xmls listed here bc the link to them on this thread is unavailable anymore

You have the "Big Maps" file opened up there, and the version of Ceddy mods that you are using does not include the big maps, that was an extra item that had to be paid for separately. You would want to use the regular maps on that version, or download the big maps version.

That's my stock ROM pulled up its not the big maps ceddymod file. I figured out what I did wrong I'm supposed to flash with ceddymods file not my stock one

Correct, it will also do that as I said if you didn't load up the big maps file and your trying to use it, the def file didn't match the flash on the ECU is the technical reason for it.

did you ever find the ROM files?

For the sake of clarity, you can run any of the ROMs on any of the flashable 2g ECU's, it does not have to be a GSX ROM on a GSX, you can run the GST ROM on any of the ECU's of any year of flash based 2g ECU, just pick one and stay with it and that's it.

I have gst ROM can I use it on gsx?

Yes, you could, although the ecuflash modded file that was used was from a Gst, there really would be no advantage to trying to use a Gsx file, and it would need defined for mods if you want to run a modded program, otherwise if you just wanted to flash a Gsx file to a Gst ecu and leave it stock, sure you could.

Great, now I can use the GST Ceddy mod file on GSX. I couldn't find the GSX Ceddy file MD346676 anywhere, only MD346675 which is for GST.

I have another question, where could I get a ROM for a Galant Rallyart 2007 3.8 Mivec?
