ecu discoloration ok or not?

so i opened my ecu up today to see if anything was leaking and it doesnt look horrible except for in one spot and the inside of the casing is kinda "blued" looks more purple. you can see the discoloration at the top of the last two pics on the white part where everything connects

I would think that just meant it got hot, possibly moistures but I doubt it on the moisture part.

That kind of discoloration is normal, I see it all the time. But, you should replace your caps anyway, even if you don't see any damage yet. Your car is a 1993, and it was in late 1993 that Mitsubishi finally fixed the bad caps. But, its not worth risking it for a $2 set of caps. PM me and I'll send a set out for free if you promise to replace them.
