I know the best way is to match up the part number. But I can't find one.
I have an 89 colt dl 1.8 liter 4g37, 5sp manual awd.

do I have to use one that is exactly the same?
or can I use any NA 4g37 ecu?

the newer ones had cas and coil packs instead of a distributor , right?
safe to say I couldn't use an ECU from one of those?[DOUBLEPOST=1407538174][/DOUBLEPOST]I found great deal on an ecu with a SUPER clean board.
It's not the same number. the number on it comes up as the same engine and trans, but from 91-94
