ECU code 12 troubles

Ok the other day i through a code 12 and the light has been on since. Now i have a 3inch gm maf, with a maf-t the first version. Whey would this light come on all of a sudden or are there other things that can trigger it? When u slam on the gas it stutters and spits something feirce for like 1000 rpms, and then clears for alittle bit then right back as soon as boost starts showing up.

Log your MAF HZ and you'll know. It wouldn't be the first time a MAFT went bad.

Ok will do, and are there any paticular numbers im looking for? And what should i do next? New maf-t or go with a 2g maf? Maybe i should contact the maf-t guys and see whats up, its two years old, well almost three but the freakin car has only 2000 miles on it since install
