Im looking into running DSMlink as my engine management but i first need a 95-96 eprom chip. None of the stores I go to sell chips, and DSMchip.com keeps coming up as broken link. I need to find a place that sells good chips for reasaonable cost.

thank you

If I were you, I'd be looking into flashing your current ECU before going with ECMLink. Click here for more info. It's going to be more cost effective, and once everything is decoded, it looks like you'll have as much control over tuning as you will with ECMLink.

If you want to run ECMLink, then you'll need a '95 ECU, not just the chip.

You'll need a 95 ecu and then dsmlink (ECM tuning) will provide you with a chip. All that you would need is to get the ecu socketed which ECM will also do for you for pretty cheap. You don't actually need your own chip.

Reflashing will eventually do everything that you could want but in the short term it isn't really mature (though it keeps getting closer) and even the evo stuff isn't as refined and easy as DSMlink.
