Hi guys!

I have a mostly stock GS-T (OEM injectors, T25 turbo, OEM MAF) with EVO 8 pistons and rods. I just got into using logging and tuning with ECMLink and already have questions at adjusting my MAFcomp and my TPS.

In the first week of using ECMlink, I went by Todays Project guides videos, and I started with setting my idle up, then went on many small drives and tried to dial my MAFComp in the 50-400 Hz area too. The problem is, if I try and hit the MAFComp Adjust in the log it throws different suggestions all the time, even for the idle (like +-10%).

I went on the highway today, and made two logs. Right before these logs, I manually adjusted the TPS to read 0,63 V at 0% throttle, then I let the car warm up and set the idle (50Hz) MAFcomp again. After a drive on the highway, I tried to log at every Throttle postion I can. I pulled into a gas station, stopped the car, made some adjustments (MAFComp, and Fuel in ECU access), and went back again. The car Immediatly pulled an Idle control warning, and my Throttle position values messed up a bit, and naturally it suggests vastly different MAFComp values again.

Is the idle problem because of the pretty bold settings I made in the MAFComp at 50Hz? How can I dial my MAFcomp better other then trying to test at every possible hertz, and adjust? I know I'm running way to rich (I'm using EVO 8 base map), I will go through the fuel table in the direct access, setting my sliders up by 2 points didn't fix that.

I attached the two logs, can someone help me with what should I check, and how can I start? (I could upload two logs, so I made a .zip file) Thank you for the help in advance!

I'm not sure what your trying to achieve adjusting the TPS. I'm a firm believer in adjusting it according to the factory spec even with DSMLink. I've yet to see a problem caused by it other than the pain caused by getting the IPS switching point set.

Thank you for the tip! I had some time this weekend, so I adjusted the TPS to factory spec, and set up my AFR and MAP sensor again to make sure it reads everything correctly.

After that I reset everything to 0 in mafcomp and started calibrating again, and that did the trick! First I set the idle, then at cruise speed, and lastly I calibrated at WOT, looking at my WBfactor. Now it runs all good.

Now when the car is not running the TPS signal is 0,63v at 0% throttle, but as soon as I start the engine, it jumps to 0,65v, but that still registers as 0% TPS so I just left it like that.
