Well today I decided to pull my ECM after I been fighting codes for two months. When I opened the case after removing, this is what I found. Also on the way in I noticed that two of the four screws holding the ecm case together were hacked, so the previous owner knew about this! A little upset but Im not the type of person to start problems.:banghead: Anyhow I did order replacement capacitors before I pulled it thinking I would be replacing them. Im not really sure what these things are or what exactly they do. Im hoping its fixable, considering sending it to ECMtuneing for service. Any opinions? Anyone been in this situation?

Well now that I have seen this, the pieces all fit together. I bought the car with idle issues. The two codes I am currently getting and cant get rid of are p0443 and p0505. One is an Evap Circuit Fault and the second is a Idle air control malifuction. So I replaced the IAC and Deleted the FIAV. This solved my idle surge but my Biss screw is almost the whole way in. So now it makes sence because the old IAC was the recalled type and didnt check out with and ohm meter. So hopefully now this will be the end to my poblems. Ill get the ECU checked out and repaired if possible and maybe get the eprom conversion so I can get DSM link in the future. I appreciate the help!!! One of the best forums no doubt!

Good Place to get a Eprom? Kinda nervous buying from ebay.
