eclipse turbo gearbox

Hi want to swap in a eclipse turbo gearbox in my 1996 galant 4g64 turbo.
The car just made 348whp and 408 of torque and I don't trust my galant gearbox.
Now i'm about to swap in a eclipse turbo gearbox,but wanted to know how much hp a eclipse turbo gearbox can hold. can it hold about 500whp?

I doubt it can handle 500. It all depends on how you take care of it, meaning if you change fluids often. But eventually if you bang the gears long enough something will break. Is this a drag only car or dd?
