Whats up guys, i have a 92 eclipse and i was wondering...would a civic spoiler fit on my car? those spoilers have grown on me like crazy...if so, has anyone tried or no for sure it it would work? Thanks!

Also, do they sell projector headlights for the 1G eclipse? I havent found any, but i wasn just wondering...

I'm not sure, but you might be able to find out in the Non-Performance Mods portion of this site.

how do you think this would look on a 92 eclipse with a drift kit...?

... that is not a stock Civic WING so I imagine you could just bolt it up to your car like an other WING on the market today.

i no its not stock man, i just was wondering how people ethought it would look...

thanks anyway

seriously, the only way that wing would look good is broken in half and thrown in a dumpster. Seriously, leave the car stock and it'll look it's best. Take the money that you saved from not buying a stupid looking body kit and wing that does nothing except add drag, and buy something to make your car go faster, or turn faster.

generally, from my experience, members of this forum tend to like the more stock look. Clean and simple.. of course im not speaking for everyone, but this is a performance site, body kits and aftermarket spoilers waste money that could have been spent on performance parts..and often arent fuctional anyhow.

Every 1G I have seen with an aftermarket spoiler or wing just looks bad. The only decent spoiler is the stock one. Now I will admit that I have seen some nice 2G's with an after market wing on them that I like, but they are few and far between.

Poeple always say they want there car to be noticed when they drive around. Well when you are driving to a hangout spot and you just pulled a few cars on that riced out Civic that will bring far mor attention that a lame wing.

If you really want to be noticed with exterior mods, get nice wheels and tires and a good paintjob. Those will get you more of the good attention rather than the "that's rice" attention.

Which body-style Civic are you considering? If your car has the factory spoiler, have you considered how to remove it?

I honestly don't know, but the non-performance section has a lot of information on 1gb headlights and conversions.

that civic wing will look horrible on a 1g. i say this because the 1g has a straighter, streamlined look to it. that wing is all curves. it will look very out of place. now i dont mind people putting aftermarket spoilers on their cars but when youre mixing curves with lines then it gets bad.

why dont you go with a aluminum wing like design, the ones that the pedestals go back and not up. a drag style wing. one that will match the car better. if you dont know what im talking about, go to ebay automotive and parts, and search for drag style wing or something of that effect.

or just leave the 1g stock body wise, put some nice metallic blue, black or white paint with bronze rims, and you will get more attention than any wing could ever give you.

I have to disagree, even though this is just an opinionated matter. Also, I for one am not a fan of just throwing stuff on a car like the thread starter wanted to do. But, I have seen 1st generations with different spoilers on the back that looked better and more natural than the stock wing. I don't know what they are, but they're small spoilers that you'd find on a "sporty" version of a sedan. It sort of made it look like a 3000gt, which the 1Ga model does somewhat look like.
