ebay o2 housing, which downpipe?

Looking for something like this for when I run my HX35 with DSM flange. I want to spend as least money as possible, even if it means sacraficing a few ponies. So I figured with this I can keep my 2g manifold, buy a Tial 38mm but which downpipe is needed for this o2 housing??

You need a custom v-band downpipe. They are stupid to make a "discount" product that will take more money to install than a name brand piece.

Yep you'll need to make a custom DP. You could probably buy a megan DP, cut the flange off of it and have a V-band clamp flange welded in it's place. I've actually thought about doing this myself because I could never get a good seal at that gasket until I bought the EBAY Recirc'd Tubular O2 housing.

Yeah I kind of assumed that. But what if the V downpipe costs less than the cost of a flanged manifold?? It sounds more like trouble than just buying the damn mani.

I also got the ebay housing recirc and it seals up fine...idk. Gasket issues? or is it that the flange is warped?

Megan DP and 2g O2 housing = Bad Seal at gasket

Megan DP and EBAY Tubular housing = Good Seal at gasket

I'm guessing the size differences had something to do with it.
