I did a search and saw that, as usual, ebay intercooler pipes are either hit or miss. However, I couldn't see any of the links for the products because they were all old. I'm wondering what you guys think of this kit.

eBay Motors: Upper Lower Intercooler Pipe KIT DSM 2G Eclipse Talon (item 110312017146 end time Dec-13-08 09:04:31 PST)

It looks very similar to the kit offered by Dejon, but a lot cheaper. It says it's flanged for a greddy bov, but I'm using a 1g, so is there any way I can make it work for me if it's worth buying? Thanks in avance.

Why not spend the extra cash and get a front mount? I got mine for around 220 shipped to my door.

My advice would be to order from a reputable DSM vendor, not a no-name Ebay company that obviously spell-checks their ads.

If you must go with this pipe kit, then you most likely won't be able to run your 1g BOV. The flange bolts on the Greddy are closer together than the 1g BOV, and it looks like there wouldn't be enough material on that flange to drill your own. If the reverse were the case, (if you had a Greddy but it were flanged for a 1g) then you'd just have to twist the BOV a little and drill new holes.

Haha, I noticed that too but didn't say anything. Misspellings on ebay are all too common. To the poster who said I should go with a fmic, I was actually thinking that, but I'm still running a t-25. I've heard good things on ssautochrome fmic's, but a lot of people complain about missing pipes and couplers and I'm not too thrilled about playing mix and match with parts. I did happen to notice that punishment racing is coming out with a 2g fmic that looks real nice for relatively cheap (if I remember correctly). My main concern is my t-25 though, would a fmic be a bit much for my stock turbo? And if I do go that route, what would I need to make 16g or 18g turbo work in the future?

I HAVE THIS! again hear from the people who use it..

this is the same kit that punishment racing was selling a while back..

they are great for the price, the fitment is great, well I didn't have any problems with it. Welds look good, and position of bov is perfect for stock recirc. hose ..

i made a post about it before..

i have 2 2g dsms, for people who are not planning to get the SSAC kit that comes with all the pipes, then this is a good cheap setup that works well. I have ran the real greddy set, and also the dejon pipes.

dejon pipes are nice but way too expensive, read my thread above. and the TB flange is paper thin and if you include the 3 pipes that comes with the ebay kit, it is like close to double the price. greddy works too, but that hard 90degree bend that connects to the stock smic is a very sharp bend, some might call it not a smooth transition, i dont think its a big deal, but some do, my main problem was the price.

another ebay product ftw in this case.. just stay away from the turbos
