You always get what you pay for. There is a reason those filters that SBR and K&N sell are 40-50-60 bucks a piece.

its fine a filter is a filter, i had a cheap ebay one and worked the same as my 100 k&n fpik

I bought a filter/intake from ebay several weeks ago and its working fine. Cost me about $50 for the hi-flow filter, the manifold, and all the tubing :thumb:. Only downside was that it was that they didn't give me the right size hose clamps :notgood: (must have been some universal kit with an eclipse manifold thrown in). It looks pretty good and it definately breathes better than my stock air box. This is the one I got: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-9...022818356QQcategoryZ38634QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Good luck

Yeah. TV advertising, for one. Magazine advertising for another. The eBays work just fine.

I prefer the 4", but I'm sure it makes no difference.

it's 9 in the morning here.. so in california it's 6 over there.. what you doing up so late/early to post, defiant!!!??!?!? ahha

and i'll agree, a 3" versus the 4.5" one I now have does nothing for the butt-dyno except look better

I had a ebay filter on my talon it costed me about 40ish and the end of the cone came unglued. They work good at the time, but over time but the quality lacks such as the glue gets old, the clamps are cheep ballkamp brand, and the cool colored rubber connectors crack and brake. Mite as well just put a screen your turbo. :talon:

I have a k&n fpik as well, but I think you would be just fine with a filter from e-bay. I seriously find it hard to believe that there is much difference in quality when it comes to these filters

Hardly any difference EXCEPT for a CARB exempt number on the K&N (and a sticker) that will make it street legal in California.

If you do not live in Cali, Ebay filter is OK.
