How is the 2g filter adaptor on Ebay Air filters?

youll be better off if you buy the k&n unit right now. I know its expensive but its a nice unit. Its an oval filter so you get a little more even flow.

Depending on you're intake pipe, it might be a very tight fit on a 1g. A buddy of mine had the same adapter/filter and it was a very tight squeeze. Also, the filter shouldn't just fall apart, I've run ebay filters for a few years now and have never had a problem with them. What intake pipe are you using?

It will be a custom, Home Depot Racing pipe. Not by the exact instructions given in various places on this site, but similar to fit my needs. After I get my setup how I like it, I am going to try my hand at fiberglass and use my HDR pipe as a template.

I have an extra filter and that plastic adapter for my 2g, pm me if anything.

you are better off with a vibrant adapter with a k&n filter that adapter looks like it will fall apart , i believe the vibrant adapter will need a 4 or 4 and 1/2 inch filter

Do you have any reason to say this other than the fact it is being sold on Ebay? I just don't see how an air filter adapter would fall apart. I was asking more to see if someone who owned one noticed it was a bad restriction, or a weird size that other filters wouldn't mount to...
